there's still 1500 people unaccounted for. there's a lot of frustrated parents who are being told you can't go to the morgue, you can't identify bodies, you got to wait a week or two. so there's a lot of questions about how organized this effort is. and whether it's going to be able to ramp up in the next day or so to get some of these parent's answers. for many, there aren't any answers right now. i've been out today with a family of a young man named will norton who just graduated high school. was going home from the graduation ceremony with his dad when the tornado struck. they were in a hummer and an suv. his dad tried to hold on to will. will according to his dad's account, will got sucked up through the sunroof of the suv, they haven't found him since, and i was with will's aunt today and will's sister, sarah, as they were watching basically two ponds being dredged to try to find will and they're trying to hold on to hope. here's some of what they told me earlier today. >> i think sarah's mom is having the toughest time

a community of only 14,000 people, and the number unaccounted for is around 100. really difficult to get your mind around. of course it is sunday morning, today marks the one week mark since this deadly tornado swept through. a lot of people are taking time out from the recovery and the cleanup to of course go to church services, but a lot of churches in the area damaged. i want to step out the way, and show you quite a magnificent site. you can see here, much of the sanctuary and the parochial school has been destroyed, but what remains, the giant steel cross that still stands very prominent. it is quite a site to behold, when you consider when this tornado came through, it was packing winds of more than 200 miles per hour, and steel doesn't even stand up to these winds, we have seen steel buildings ripped apart. but this is the bible belt. this is the buckle, as one person said. so these people are certainly calling on a higher power this morning to try and make sense of what they have gone through. sheer horror, really in the last week. the search and recovery
