to explore all options in order to curb the drug trade so right now unfortunately the united states is focused on the supply as opposed to the demand we are one of the most greedy in terms of consuming drugs in the world and you know simple economics tells you that if you cut down the demand the supply will shrink but we've not done that our whole policy is to go after in latin america in particular to go after the supply to spray fields with poisonous chemicals that are even affecting children such that people are having birth defects you know asthma except that's been our policy so that's why you're seeing presidents like able morales who are more on that left side really pushing back against united states because they've experienced first hand what kind of conditionality is come with a little bit of the drug war i mean well that would take away the millions tens of millions of dollars from these banks that are laundering drug money legally through the fight of course we're not going to see that and didn't you know not all of the countries are prospering in south america obviously
