i don't serve in the united states senate. never served in the united states senate. never worked for anybody that served in the senate. they have rules that will allow the democrats to shut down the government if they choose to do it. i don't think they will. if they do i think they'll regret it. certainly many on my side regret some of the decisions they made in the last one of these crises. i hope we do the responsible thing in this body and count on cooler heads in the united states senate to do the same thing. i also would point out in this bill that people are going to vote no on, my friends probably in overwhelming numbers, sad to say, there is nothing in it they disagree w they don't disagree with chip re-authorization. they don't disagree with delaying taxes and the affordable care act. they don't disagree with providing additional missile defense. they tell us they want to keep the government operating. and particularly when there are negotiations under way on the matters that actually concern them. that strikes me as incredibly disingenuous or shortsighted o
