take you for joining us at noon. a man shot and killed by phoenix police after fighting with an officer. this happened overnight near 20th st. and thomas. marc liverman has more from the scene >> reporter: one suspect is dead after an officer involved shooting that happened early this morning. we are told the officer involved or one of the officers involved was taken to the hospital with a minor injury the face. this is what the scene looked like it has been like this since early this morning. let's go back because the started between 2:30 and 3 am this morning. an officer was investigating a suspicious vehicle when a suspect approached and that is when the suspect and the officer had a physical fight. and the officer suffered a broken nose. the officer was able to get on the radio and ask for help when it nearby officer showed up and shot the suspect. the suspect ran at least 20 yards before collapsing to the found dead in its the unknown whether the suspect was armed police say it was an arriving detective who fire

think you for joining us at noon. right now, phoenix police are searching for driver who hit and killed a driver in a wheelchair -- who hit and killed a woman in a wheelchair early this morning. jill has the latest on the victim and who officers are looking for. >> reporter: a sad situation. we are down here at 48th st. at mcdowell where a woman in a wheelchair was hit by a truck, and the driver of that truck just took off from the scene. officers right now say that they are still working to try to track that person down. phoenix police say it is not clear what this woman in the wheelchair was doing outside at this hour. possibly she lived in the area. there are lots of apartment complexes right along 48 street. also, if you are not familiar with this part of town, there are a few streetlights that are dimly lit at that hour. officers say that they are is a situation where the driver did not see the woman until it was too late, or could this be a case where possibly drugs or alcohol may have played a role in this. a g

thank you for joining us here at noon. a woman who ran during a mid-morning raid is still on the run. today's s.w.a.t. standoff in the valley. >> one officer was injured when he was bit by a dog during a standoff near a home of 7th avenue and happy valley road. it started about 6:30 this morning. s.w.a.t. officers were serving multiple drug-related warrants. two came out willingly. two barricaded themselves in the home. in the ka motion one woman ran from the scene. >> i hear bullets. cars everywhere. i see sheriff's parked cars here. i go on the far side of my property and a s.w.a.t. guy tells me go back in your house. >> reporter: both the officer and the dog are reported to be okay. they are waiting for the gas to clear that home before they go in and conduct their search. >>> two people are dead third wounded. this happened 28th street and roser. one of those men shot three people inside the home and the other two men left. police are looking into whether this was drug-related. the wounded person is expected to survive
