us. we just need some answers here. >> i wish i had them for you. i asked people who know a lot more than i did, the scientists down at the climate prediction center in maryland, and they tell me that no, el nino is just forming, it is not to blame for the fact that we haven't had much of a summer here in new york and they're baking in texas. what el nino is going to do, brian, it is going to impact our weather in the late fall and the winter. for those who may not remember what el nino is, warming of tropical walters in the pacific, that influences the jet stream. so instead of taking the big arc which brings arctic air down to our area in the winter it flattens the jet stream and so our weather gets milder. so here's what they think is going to happen across the united states. in the late fall/winter. you see we are going to have wetter weather, down from texas all the way to the carolinas. in the north, pacific northwest, minnesota, and up to alaska, it is going to be milder. the big question is? what is going to happen in california and the sout

just off the coastline is a stationary front, and this is going to be causing some big problems for us here. we are going to be dealing with some problems. there is a potential for rain during the workweek that is dependent on where this front sets up. we thought it would be on the i- 95 corridor. this is continuing to push off towards the coast. we will see where it sets up. this will have an impact on the cloud cover we have during the workweek and how much rain we will have. it is looking to be dry on monday with a few showers late in the afternoon. tuesday looks a little on the wet side with temperatures well below average, but it will still be in the 70's or low 80's. the futurecast shows that cloud cover coming in tomorrow morning, and this tries to move through by early tuesday morning. it looks like it will be a wt morning commute -- a wet morning commute. the cloud cover building. the temperature is still a little on equals. on the bay -- the water temperature is still holding in the upper 70's. all across the state, we are dealing with the rain developing by the late-afternoon hou
