i wanted to use a little white on the walls in order to brighten up the home and have a place to displaymy art. another theme you will see throughout the house is my use of metals. in this room, i used them on the light switches, in the wall art, and in the brass bench under the stairs. just over the entryway, there is this fun little room i like to call my conference room. i started with a white base and added a lot of pops of color, which can be seen in the chairs, in the mural, and in some of the wall decorations. and i designed this table with a cool little feature, where you can push on the center of the table and have a place to plug in your gadgets. but my favorite feature in this room is this fireplace. i love how it transitions as if it spills onto the wood floors. what used to be three separate rooms and now combined makes any chef's dream kitchen. in this room, i used a number of different materials. i used italian mutina tiles on the floor. and for the cabinets and island, i used a mix of modern metals and classic woods. and finally, i had a graffiti artist design our kitchen
