in the arkansaned kentucky primaries last night. those causing head cakes for the white house. joining uso explain is doug luzader. >> good morning, guys. for a while all we would focus on is the republican numbers because that's where the horse race was. with that issue smartly resolved it is the democratic numbers that are getting fascinating. no one disputes president obama will be the democratic nominee. he crossed the delegate threshold he needs. let's start with what happened in arkansas yesterday. based on the return so far the president's dm democratic challenger john wolf won 42 percent of the vogt. that is a huge number in a preem mary battle against a sitting president. arkansas has an open primary so republican leaning voters could in theory vote for a democrat against the president. but that is not the case. the other case we will talk about kentucky which has a closed party the numbers look almost identical. 42 percent of registered democrats cast ballots against the president choosing uncommitted instead. that 40ish number keeps coming up. two weeks ago a federal prison inm
