v.j.? >> well, quite a bit. ok at the amounts. westminster is 7 inches, and fredrick, maryland, 7 inches, and columbia and howard also 3 inches, and so it the pocket north and west of d.c. where we are really seeing the snow coming down hard. talking about it outside now, and the temperatures of the conditions out there, and of course, the visibilities are reduced across the area, and the winter storm warning continues through 11:00 p.m. this evening, and through the area, and it is around 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. when i expect the sfoe to make its way out of here, but look at the coverage on storm team 4 radar here, and look at that covering the beltway there. even some of the main roads are slippery today, and not just the secondary roads, but bethesda and kettering and bowie, and the snow covered roads, but the one area, southern maryland and st. mary's, and calvert county have not had much snow, even at fredericksburg, and we thought it would be on the southern edge, and that is where it has

v.j v.j.? >> well, a big deal down to the south, but even around here and take a look at the numbers and the snowfall amounts expected tomorrow morning and some of us some of us not have to do anything at all, and a little sweeping and we may have to see some delays and slick spots on the road tomorrow morning. and all of the counties shaded in purple and anne aroundel county and the northern neck and those the areas of west and northumberland, and essex and stafford kocounty and the possibility of throughout the area of folks seeing several areas of snow, and we have been tracking it from leonarddown and fredericksburg and already seeing the snow from the sizable system that is making its way up the coast. it is going to graze us. so the snow chance mainly over southern maryland, and a bigger chance for ocean city, and isolated slick roads early tomorrow morning that could lead to delays and a map on how much will fall across the area. >> all right. veronica, thanks, and a busy stretch of down

v.j. was talking about driving slowly. that is what you want to do today and tonight as the sun goes down. look at the road here. i want to be fair to v dot. this type of second dairy rule the exception and not the rule. most of the main roads are in good shape moving well and every once in a while you come through a subdivision, side street and secondary road and you find it is covered over and iced over. as the temperature drops fit, this is obviously what we have to deal with, what we need to be careful of vdot is telling us after a certain temperature, 19, 20 degrees, the chemicals they put down, they simply don't work and why they need mother nature the sun to help out with some of this. they say every road has had some sort of treatment, whether chemical or salt or sand solution. that's the situation in falls church. let's send it to tracy wilkins in upper marlboro. >> hi, adam. up in upper marlboro we see plenty of roads have been plowed and taken care of. in prince george they are

v.j.? >> well, it is getting slick out here on the weather deck, because it is concrete under here, and so a lot of the roads, and the sidewalks and the secondary roads like right here, as soon as we clear it, it piles up, but the wind is, too, starting to pick up, and we will need the hat and the glove and the mittens and everything to cover up the exposed skin by late tonight or tomorrow morning. and the snowplows are going by, and the temperatures are currently 25, and winds gusting to 26 miles per hour. you could see the blowing snow there on the bottom of the screen. what it feels like across the area, between 8 and 15. and mount airy to 15 and the same over the fredericksburg. if you want to clean the sidewalks,it inow, because this is the time to get it. yes, we will get more snow, but the windchills are going to be dropping below zero, and by midnight, and 5 to 10 or 15 degrees below zero by 5:00 tomorrow morning. and here it will feel like minus 2, and 4 below in hagerstown, and 8:
