nbc news political reporter vaughn hillyard has been following the very latest in this saga. vaughn, what could this plea mean for the florida congressman? >> this is the beginning of the opening of just the extent to which this sex trafficking investigation will implicate others. because, from the court documents that have so far been released on friday, ahead of tomorrow's court appearance by greenberg, there are no other individuals named at this time. but as part of this plea agreement, greenberg notes and admits to 150 financial transactions in which he paid for sex with women. but also sought out women online but not only for sex acts with him but also for, quote, other men. now the question is, who are those other men? again, those court documents do not outline this but could this potentially implicate congressman matt gaetz. that's where the congressman has reported that federal authorities are investigating matt gaetz for having sex with a minor and for paying for that minor to travel alongside with him. now as part of those 150 transactions from 2016 to 2018, by gre

vaughn hillyard at in virginia where shoppers are experiencing the confusion as the mask guidance is time today. vaughn, you are at one of the places in america where i go to talk to voters, because you will find people going to and from their cars into these big box stores. as we pointed out, i think this morning, your mask guidance was one thing and now even just in the last few hours it has changed. what can you show us? >> reporter: that's right. target, initially this morning, if you looked at the front door, here in virginia, there was a sign that said, a mask required. over the course of the morning, employees got word that target, the corporation, changed its policy across the 2,000 retail locations. folks can now enter, if they are fully vaccinated, and their local jurisdiction doesn't have a mask mandate, they are good to go inside of their target without a mask. i want to let you hear from liz ales, one woman who was smiling when i went to introduce myself to her inside the store earlier today. she didn't have a mask on. it was her first time in more than a year doing so i

i want to bring vaughn hillyard in. os angeles as we continue to look at this late rail yard in san jose, california, that has become the latest mass shooting site in our country. vaughn, what more can you tell us? >> to our understanding, what we are gleaning from what authorities are saying, this is the santa clara valley transportation authority control center. this is a hub. to give you an idea what the vta does, they oversee public transit for the santa clara county area. that's the sixth most popular county in california. san jose is the third largest county. they oversee public transit for nearly 2 million people here. it operates bus, rail, also contributes funding and operational management of the cal train system. we do not believe at this time, this is an area that the public generally has access to. this is not necessarily somewhere where folks dock on a train or bus system themselves. we know that there are no employees -- we should say that, employees were evacuated from the scene. it is our understanding t

. >> vaughn hillyard live there outside of the target. vaughn, thank you., let me go to you, you're post the out in atlanta. what are you hearing from folks as they try to navigate this guidance? >> reporter: you know, it's interesting, the cdc announcing here in atlanta, people are surprised. it's actually left up to the individual cities, in columbus, savannah, you're still under that mask mandate. here in atlanta, the mayor saying it's up to businesses. she only put a mask mandate in on city buildings, we posted up between a starbucks and publix. a high-opinion place. >> yeah, i'm fully vaccinated, but i think it's too soon to leave the mask completely. and but in close-knit areas, it's important to wear the mask. >> i'm a dental high hygienist, i'm mindful of that. for me, i won't wear a mask. >> for you? >> for me, i will wear it indoors, i don't know that other people are vaccinated. >> reporter: that last sound bite is key, if you look at the state of georgia there's a high amount of hesitancy. eight of the big centers are shutting down in four days.

let's go to vaughn hillyard. what's going on there? >> reporter: yeah, alex, this is a community waiting for the district attorney to decide whether he'll press charges against three deputies who on april 21st shot and killed andrew brown jr. it was a search warrant they were trying to conduct. there's a discrepancy what the district attorney is saying based off body cam footage the public has not seen. while that is debated and while the district attorney makes the decision, the community is dealing with the loss of andrew brown jr. a funeral procession will be led right here across the street where his public viewing will be taking place this afternoon. then tomorrow afternoon is when his funeral service will take place. this afternoon there's a march for criminal justice reform here that has led members of the community and a couple hundred folks from around north carolina here. i want to bring in one individual from this community who we just met. could you tell me your relation to andrew brown jr. and what means to your community
