janine de la vega is joining us live now. you're at the store where the incident happened early yesterday morning. >> reporter: it was a frightening encounter that the clerk had with a robbery suspect. i went inside and spoke to the clerk. she says she is filling in because her coworker was too shaken up to come back to work. the encounter was all caught on surveillance camera which police are already revealing. two of the officers pulled up early sunday morning and saw a suspect point a girl at a clerk and shot. they feared for their life and fired at the suspect killing him. a loaded gun was found near the body. police have not said how many shots were fired but neighbors at a nearby apartment complex say they heard several. >> maybe that was the only thing they could do. very dangerous to work in those. >> reporter: the clerk that was in the store was not hurt. this is the the city's second officer involved shooting. last month an auto burglary suspect tried to mow down an officer during a traffic stop which prompted offic
