you look at people who have invested in the internet, the cable guys of the world, verizon, they pay to invest in the piping of all of this. shouldn't they be able to charge if certain websites are sucking up so much of the space? >> in fact we have a network over $14 billion to capital was invested to build, and what we encourage is a competitive market where netflix can go out and shop for the best band width at the lowest costs. what companies like comcast or verizon are trying to do is create an environment with no competition and the only place to buy bandwidth is from them at arbitrary prices. they restrict the quality of the internet forcing a degradation in service and therefore the need to create fast lanes. liz: are you saying if this rule goes through and net college disappears and they get to charge your business could be in danger of going under? >> no, our business is a diversified business. 52% of our revenues come from competing with these companies as an isp. 48% of revenues come from the sale of bulk internet capacity. only about 5% are at risk due to these rules. l
