vernon odom joined us with the latest on this investigation. >> reporter: good afternoon. police are investigating and looking hard into this case, i'm standing at a septa stop at frankford right adjacent to pennypack park, police say there is no clear pattern of recent sexual assaults around here. >> police say it happened around 10:00 saturday night at the entrance of pennypack park, a 30-year-old woman just left work and was waiting for septa to arrive when she was sexually assaulted by a man in his late teens or 20s, she said he approached and asked for the time and tried to grab her and drag her into the park and she was fondled and she struggled and he eventually fleed. >> she struggled and was able to break free of this male, with that he flees the location. >> this is a busy septa stop during the morning and evening hours, but late at night it could be a scary place. they say they would not walk alone in broad daylight. >> scary, i would not walk up here by myself. >> even in the daytime? >> yes, even in the daytime. >> this took place late at night on the weekend.

"action news" reporter walter perez live in penns grove with details on that. walter. >> reporter: well, monica, the allegation is of three youngsters had a fistfight way fourth youngster here at pence grove middle school about two weeks ago. that fourth youngster is kind of at the center of this whole thing because he allegedly uttered racial epithets and strong threats of violence and that same youngster was at the center of a gun related controversy about two years ago. 13-year-old amir brown a student at penns grove middle school says he's afraid that a fistfight he was involved in two weeks ago may develop into something bigger. >> i feel threatened in how he used the n-word to me and how he would say things you're n
