[ wind blowing ] >> vianey arana capturing that, a of active weather out there. you can hear the thunder, i'm sure, across the bay area. i certainly heard it last night in san jose. meteorologist kari hall you've been timing out just how long you need the umbrellas and after last night seemed like for a good minute. >> it's pretty much all day. we still have a lot of this storm system that has to work through the bay area, and it's brought in some waves of rain with some breaks in between. right now we're getting some showers moving into san francisco, but we've also seen the other wave just kind of move farther inland to the east bay, as we see it moving through antioch, bethel island and the discovery bay area. we're seeing some of those showers moving through, and then also heading down towards some of our east bay hills, mt. diablo, covered with snow right now. you can see all the different colors on the radar, as you go up above 3,000 feet, all of that rain changing over to snow, w n. so here's what we can expect. some off and on
