let's get to meteorologist vianey arana. >> everyone is sleeping but us. our lovely viewers tuned in. satellite radar you can see we have plenty of rain starting to push through and we're going to continue to see this over the next couple hours. the main impact will be right during the morning show. so right until 7:30. so storm ranger you have a little bit of rain pushing in through oakland and san francisco. some of the-ier rain is around a the coastline and the interior valleys. liver more, just a couple more areas. so is light to moderate at times. so your early morning commute is going to be impacted when it comes to the roadways. but also we're starting to see some rain push in. keep that in mind. as far as any flash flood watches, we have one that is really far up north near the reading area. no watches or warnings here locally, but we'll be monitoring that for sunday is. because there will be several advisories going into effect as that third storm system makes its way in it. mike, how is everyone doing on the roads? >> making their way into san fr

we want to get to meteorologist vianey arana. >> we have plenty of rain pushing through the bay area. here's a closer look at what we're monitoring. this is the second storm of the three we have been monitoring. i want to use our mobile storm ranger because it gets down closer to street level. you can see san francisco just got a couple pockets. oakland seeing some of that rain. and you can see some of the yellow and orange glow, we're seeing some of the moderate to heavy at times rainfall. so san mateo getting some of that rain. and then around the coastline, expect to keep that rain for the next several hours. if you're wondering what about the south bay? look what's going on here. we have it inching in closer into mountain view. san jose is on deck. along with thefree mopt mont area. and also the mountains as well, we're seeing the rain start to push in which means a dangerous commute along highway 17. we'll keep the rain in the forecast for the first half of the morning. then we'll get just a little bit of an afternoon break. daytime highs in the 60s. and we're going to keep some

we want to bring in meteorologist vianey arana.e beginning of a wet week. >> it really is, sierra. it was so nice to see the viewers tweeting us their photos of the rain and this is a live look right now in downtown san jose. you can see, if you look at the roads, little bit of wet pavement there. current temperatures, 56 degrees. but i do want to take a closer look at satellite radar and see where we stand with this rain. for the most part, some of the higher peaks could see just a little over quarter of an inch. everywhere else, we are talking about a couple of hundredths. but as sierra mentioned, this is going to be just the beginning of a pretty active week. right now, we have still got some rain bands pushing through. but if i zoom this in a little bit closer near santa rosa, fairfield, you can see we just had this line of showers pass through the concord area. now, pushing its way in through sacramento. starting to get some of those bands as well and here it is. that's the rain that is pushing through the south bay right now,
