abc 7 news reporter vick lee is live with the latest from the police station. >> reporter: all of this happened shortly after 5:00 yesterday evening at the petsmart store. police arrested the 38-year-old groomer at that store. the owner of the dog has three datsuns. he said there were no problems with the first dog when he took it in to be groomed, it was the second dog that died. the owner told police it was soon after he left the dog with the groomer when this terrible thing happened. here is the sergeant of the police department. >> about three minutes after the groomer took the dog in the back to be groomed the groomer came running out saying the dog was having a medical emergency. the owner could see the dog was foaming at the mouth and had blood in its mouth. >> reporter: the groomer then reportedly rushed the dog to a hospital, a veterinary hospital which is right adjacent to the store an x-ray determined that the dog had two broken ribsened a a punctured lung. police say they are certain it was no accident. he has been charged with felony animal cruelty. he's been booked in the
