vicky graf has your forecast in severe weather center 9. >> good friday morning. temperatures yet again on the warmer side. this is warmer than what our average high should be this time of year. 63 in charlotte, 64 in monroe, 60 in rockingham and 62 in statesville. you don't need the layers. as we go throughout the day today it's going to be a warmer one. you notice another cloudy day and the clouds will stick around through the entire afternoon. by mid day 74 degrees and highs close to 80 degrees, 20 degrees warmer than average but that warmth is going to lead to showers to arrive later today. chester a cloudy start in the low 80s and by 5:00 around 79 degrees so not a bad end to the week but we are going to see changes on the way heading into the weekend. here's a look at live early warning doppler 9. it is quiet. we do have the clouds in place. might even see the patchy fog in the mountains this morning the only problem spots to start the day off but watching this storm system very closely bringing flooding and severe storms across the deep south. pieces of tha
