marshals this morning. 9news reporter victoria sanchez joins us and rocky allen appeared in federal court this afternoon. >> he reported to an attorney's office and was arrested by federal agents. allen will remain in custody until at least friday when he could enter awe plea and the court will decide if he can be granted bond or must remain in federal detention. there are two charges against consumer product and the other for obtaining a controlled substance by deceit. he worked at swedish medical center as a surgical technician a little over five months after he was fired from a previous surgical tech position in arizona. it's believed he stole a syringe of the highly addictive narcotic fentanyl and replaced it with a different substance. officials haven't said what that substance is. swedish told 2,900 parishes they need to be tested for -- patients they need to be tested for hepatitis c and b and hiv. one of those parishes tested positive for hepatitis b -- patients tested positive for hepatitis b. officials will check to see if she got it from the hospital. a possible prison sentence

the woman accused of attacking a pregnant woman and taking her unborn baby from 9news reporter victoria sanchez has been in the courtroom for us today and today we learned just how strong michelle wilkins is, victoria, just to have survived. >> reporter: kim, the who cared for wilkins when she arrived in the emergency room. they said she had a large laceration to her stomach, multiple neck wounds and lost more than half her blood. wilkins who was not in court today survived, but her child did not. dr. kevin berg said he does not know if she can have children again because of the serious injuries to her uterus. the second doctor who saw both women in the hospital said lane made him believe she had the baby and then had to perform an exam proving that she did not give birth. >> she then said that afterwards, then this, woman has started -- the pregnant woman had started stabbing herself and that dynel was concerned about the welfare of the baby and so dynel felt she had to save the baby's life and therefore cut the baby out of her. >> reporter: the prosecution showed multiple items from the blood
