vincent's thrift shop.. and they told me some interesting stories about odd items they've seen come through the door. ... thrift stores are known find unique items... style.. or just not used anymore... and at st. they're usually more than happy to take your unwanted items. most donations translate into food and services for those in need. a bag of clothes for instance is 32 meals in the dining room so it's very helpful.... but sometimes... what's left in the donation bin... isn't very helpful..... for instnace.. dirty socks with holes in them, ,...you know soied mattresses ..we really can't sell those and reuse those. and being a thrift store... harrison says you never know what is going to be donated. in the past 3 years, we've actually had 3 different donations of human ashes. other odd items... a prosthetic leg.. useds casts probably the craziest thing i've seen is a box of syringes.... i think people assume we'll take everything where we really prefer things that have a little bit of value to them thing

this morning the state board of elections approved the new election for one race in vincent. our capital viewer laura leslie is here with reaction to all of this. laura. >> you may remember we recovered the story since we heard from the problem. this resolution is one of these rare instances where opposing candidates agree this was the right move after 37 people voted in the wrong district in a race decided by seven votes. challenger and commissioner john bonner appeared before the commission this morning and the wife was also there. is it was only fair to hold another election and he's ready to hit the campaign trail again smoothly this time around. >> hopefully on the right doors this time. the board also agreed. the rule for ballot order in 2016 would have put his name first. the confusion started when they in 2008. it doesn't seem like those new districts ever made the county election officials so they received the wrong ballot. the other two were not effected because the vote totals were not close. voters in the town council district 2 will get to make their choice again
