wal-mart is a -- i studied corporate giving, and wal-mart i think this year is the largest corporate donor in america. something like 300 mental a year -- $300 million a year. that sounds like a lot but corporate giving has gone up a lot over the years, but has declined precipitously as a percentage of corporate profits, which is the right way to look at it. as corporate profits have skyrocketed, corporate pratt giving has gone up but nearly the same amount. that's the first question i would put to them is, how do you benchmark and start thinking about reinvesting even a modest 1%, which some think of as the benchmark, back to the community and very few 0 of the major corporations reach that level. >> i think a lot of the younger people now are scared there will be no social security later on and don't feel they can give charitable donations right now, but are looking for social investing. what drew think of the effectiveness of things like community loan funds and are you involved in them at all? >> well, first things first. social security will be there. social security is not in a
