waldorf is 73. also 70 in bowie but 78 on the bay. boy, that's very muggy morning in annapolis.shine now but that's not going to be the later on. 77. but it feels like 79 thanks to the dew point of 71 here in d.c. the threat today for severe weather with us once again east of the blue ridge. the risk today like yesterday will be damaging wind gusts. isolated storms may have some large hail. the futurecast pretty quiet through the morning hours, but by 2:00 notice winchester to strasburg down toward lee market getting into the blue ridge. this afternoon getting up toward frederick and that will be approaching d.c. 4:00, 5:00 p.m. these could be strong to severe storms from baltimore all the way down toward fredricksburg just in time for the rush hour, right? then as we get into the evening hour, 6:30 the threat moves over toward the bay, across southern maryland. a couple of showers can't be ruled out overnight tonight ahead of the front. then by tomorrow morning, we're going to try to get this stuff out of here. could be an early shower east. generally a much better day tomorrow

especially between waldorf and la plata and heading off to the east. this will head toward st.y's county in the next few minutes. in fact, headed toward brandy wine. this will have frequent lightning and also the possibility of strong, gusty winds. just because there's not a warning doesn't mean you couldn't have 30 or 40-mile per hour winds and that's dangerous. we saw a lot of damage to the north of town with those big storms, and the rain fall is almost 2 inches. just to the east side of 270 in howard county, not far from columbia. and also 2.4 inches up near hagerstown earlier today. that caused a tractor trailer crash around 81 and 70. so, rain and wind are the enemies. you can do some things. you can secure loose objects, bring in small chairs. they will blow around, turn small tables upside down. stay away from windows and put the umbrellas down on your porch or patio so they don't get lifted off. here's your future cast. 7:00, things calm down a little bit in the immediate metro area. but some showers and storms back to the south and east of town and some of these could
