we met them at the superintendent and at the time president walton and i sat with them and a great conversation about who we are, how special the school district is. i think it is really going to take all of us to not only highlight what we do on a regular basis but to really put that information out there. i think that is what we don't do very well is really highlight the achievement of the district. in all of the places we go if you think about how much we get from voters through the city and the investment we get from philanthropically and corporately, it is significant compared to others. to your point there is a lot more. a lot of corporations don't have foundations or what they want to give for. we went over with kaiser to talk about putting a provider in willy brown because that was something they could do. there is a variety of things we have been trying to do to approach this. the other thing i think is important to note is that, you know, for those that have been around for a while if you recall we had the every child can learn foundation. this was kind of basically a flow through acc
