the story county sheriff's office confirms they performed a wellfare check on wanchanic's ex- wife..a resident named peggy reed who lives in slater last night in relation to the homicides in des moines. she was not found at that location. they said they don't categorize her as missing but they are concerned about her whereabouts the killings in des moines make the 18th and 19th homicides of the year which is the most in nearly 20 years...
