comcast doesn't replace time warner. it replaces time warner, but it doesn't replace a competitor. and then you say we need this scale to compete nationally. so why shouldn't the reviewers look at it as a national marketplace inthe stead of a local marketplace? it looks like comcast is talking out of both sides of its mark. >> i think from an antitrust perspective just two entirely different conversations. >> so? >> i mean, i think the answer is also the regulators are going to look at both, right? doj and the fcc look at all the different markets, any emerging party is going to, you know, affect. so, you know, i think what your point, i think, brings out is fact that, you know, there are facts that are going to be put before the agencies, and the agencies will consider the effect on the relevant markets. >> and maybe this is more responsive. so you talk about when you're doing antitrust analysis, you rook at what the efficiencies are, what are the benefits that come from the transaction, and you balance those against harms to competition. so the benefit of the transaction by doing

in new june of 2005 there was a poll done by a o l and time warner. a o l online which surveyed americans and didn't give them a choice, put in whatever name they wanted. who is the greatest american of all time. not the greatest president, who is the greatest american of all time. 2.4 million people responded with any status far and away representative sample. maybe 500 people to do this polling and reagan won greatest american of all time. what republican wouldn't want to be like reagan? who would aspire to that success? you now have republican groups all over the county, state groups, they have been holding these annual lincoln day dinners for years, changing the names of many of those to reagan day dinners because the lincoln day dinners were in february which is the month of president's day and lincoln's breast and also the month of ronald reagan's birthday so many of these republican groups in a sense reagan replacing lincoln of all things. all right, so i get asked all the time by media people and others which candidate is the most like reagan?
