. >> made a thousand attorneys on that webinar. that is the most that you can have in the american bar association which has possession of this and is continuing to disseminate it. the american bar association says they thought that we would have had 4000 because they have a committed everybody that wanted to learn about this topic. we also using this to develop something that i will just say will be a little simpler language for people like me who are practitioners. to do special training for practitioners on the privacy issues. but the thing that i think is most exciting is that yesterday, we were able to publish a funding announcement. will have a national center on privacy. hipaa and 42cfr and i think it will make a huge difference. >> help the other stakeholders and clinicians? will you be bringing them in too as you develop this programs? >> absolutely. we will have a single grantee whose job it will be to train clinicians, to train administrators and often comedies will be lawyers that are involved in healthcare systems. but

webinars and reports and you know it's a lot of work so i think that definitely the initiative is out there to improve our coaching but you have a privately owned coaching education we do in turn our club does internal coaches education so we bring our speakers we bring out. different people that have had different experiences to you know open up ideas for our coaching staff so internally as a club that's been a huge initiative for us. that's begin with the u.s. not being in the world cup but. what the the consequence of that is for for us used to the football obviously people were disappointed you know and in the us it's another opportunity you know to see our players in a world cup competition you know test and see where our youth team players were so it was a disappointment it's also sort of a chance to re-evaluate you know since we didn't make it so i think we're going to use that as sort of a wake up call to maybe some of the things that weren't going as well as we'd like but it is disappointing as we would love to see our our national team there and where those so it's taken me.

expect them to run it on their own, we are constantly sharing best practices with customers, doing webinars, giving papers to customers and helping them run secure elections. i also want to go off my written record for a minute and talk about senators wyden's comments and address those specifically. because hart inter civic is an important voting system provider in the united states. we have been open. we don't stone wall. we did answer the letter that senator wyden sent to voting system providers and our core values at heart are about can r candor, which i'm using right now, and about integrity, which we feel is very important and really one of our basic tenets is that we are election geeks. we love elections and we feel like we are helping america vote. thank you. >> mr. finney. >> mr. chairman, ranking member klobuchar and members of the committee, i'm here as a ceo of democracy live, delivering electronic balloting to members of our military, overseas voters and the 35 million blind and disabled voters in the united states. that includes the military and overseas voters, mr. chairman, i

we are starting to do webinars to help the private sector understand how to mitigate and to recognizehe threat. what we saw was targeting a particular industrial control system which manages our grid, manages distribution of energy and in one case we did see access to a very limited distribution asset. it would not have had an effect on the larger grid. nonetheless, it shows us the capability is there. so we are going to work hand in glove with department of energy and with private sector partners to make sure we are prepared. >> bret: which country is the best at cyber attacks? russia, iran, china? >> russia we see with very immediate effect. if you will excuse the expression, they are being a bit noisy about it. they are not covering their tracks is viewed much as they used to. china is playing more of a long game. we see them and betting, we see them waiting. they are patient but they are not necessarily that would seem trying to disrupt anything as we see the potential for with the russians. >> bret: the midterm elections 100 days away. quinnipiac came out with a pole. how concern

and we're also going top webinars some of which will be our own and some of which we can borrow from other true public practitioner professionals and it will be things such as best practices, tools and techniques, things of that nature that you can use. there's a pretty robust list of the plan that is going to launch with the requirements. i won't get into all the detail but if you are going to ask people to do a job you have to provide them with what they need to do the job well. and that is what we're trying to do with the resources. the last part, well relationships, right. so if we don't build trust with the communities that we serve and we don't sit down and listen to them and work with them, without a relationship and trust projects will not move forward. it's just a fundamental commonsense thing. and so we have ways in which we're trying to help staff with that. this is a very important core piece of the poet's programs. we do have and i think some of you have heard about our district liaison program and they're actually dedicating to a specific district. some of them have bui

[ multiple speakers ] >> extensor provisions in the house farm bill, the pilot program -- they all have the potential to provide duplication with the fcc. >> yo

the initiative included work sessions, webinars and transparency work sessions posted on youtube. this process helped inform the western governors. in 2016 and in 2017 western governors adopted bipartisan policy resolutions, including specific regulations for improving the esa in species conversation mack conservation. >> a number of recommendations were reflected in this discussion draft will. when congress adopted the esa in 1973 they did not require the fish and wildlife service to act on petitions. the amended it after two years for proposed rulemaking. if they failed within the two years they had to withdraw. in 1982 after complaints that listing decisions were being delayed, congress added -- acted and added a current requirement that congress act on a 90 day finding within 12 months that they receive. congress did not choose a 12 month deadline for any scientific reason, it was simply arbitrary to spur action on listings. the fish and wildlife service receives hundreds of petitions at a time, but they don't have the resources to meet the deadline. the resulting litigation a
