wendy, thanks so much for joining us. were you surprised by the results of the study?it's disappointing that 40% believe that marriage is obsolete and we could turn it around and say 60% believe that marriage is not obsolete and if this was an election, we would call that a land slide. >> indeed, you're right. why do you think all of a sudden we're seeing this perception. year ago in 1978, i believe only 20% of people believed that marriage was becoming obsolete and now it's 39%. could it be hollywood glamorizing things, we have couples with brangelina and their brood of kids and they're not married. what do you think is changes the perception? it's a combination of things. allowing it to be easier to get out of marriage with no-fault divorce. a culture that has accepted the ideas of being rather egocentric, rather than believing and understanding that marriage takes work and it means being self-less, giving up what you would want to benefit somebody else. i think we need to tackle this problem. this should be really a warning sign for us. 40% of people believe that ma
