the chp tells us a motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the bridge, just west of the toll plaza. it happened just after 2:00 this afternoon. the alameda county coroner is at the scene this afternoon. a second vehicle may have also hit that motorcycle rider, according to authorities, and that person did not stop after the crash. two lanes of the bridge are blocked right now because of this crash, and authorities are still trying to clear the scene here. and as we sort of shift over towards san francisco, you can see that tremendous backup here on the bay bridge in the eastbound direction as a result of this crash. obviously, you can see that backup extends for some time here. as authorities continue to investigate. we will continue following this crash here affecting traffic on the bay bridge as we move throughout the afternoon. >> it is certainly going to take some time for that to clear up. all right. back now to ukraine, zelensky at the oval office meeting with trump and vice president vance to discuss russia's invasion of ukraine, now in its fourth year. >>
