katherine scott is live at the scene of that homicide in west philadelphia. >> reporter: five people were shot in four separate shootings across the city overnight. it took place in a matter of hours. we're here in southwest philadelphia on the scene of a homicide that took place in the last couple of hours. police remain on the scene where a man nidz 20s was shot and killed. it happened at 2:00 a.m. police say he was shot five times in the face at pointblank range and pronounced on the scene. a weapon was found under his body. witnesses saw a man flee from the scene. police stopped a man who fit the description he had a gun on him, he is in custody. let's go to video from another shooting in east oak lane an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg around 1:00 a.m. on the 1400 block of east price street. he told police he was walking down the street and felt a pain and noticed he was shot. he was unable to give officers a description of the suspect. else in stable condition. police found four shell casings nearby. in all shootings, police are looking for video to help in the investigation
