i spent some time in his west philly neighborhood earlier this afternoon. i searched two of archer's known addresses. here they are bringing boxes of evidence out of a home on 61st and pine street in west philadelphia. another house is being searched as part of standard procedure, looking into archer's computer activity, telephone, and travel records. sources tell nbc 10 the 30 year old was unknown to the fbi prior to this incident. in a phone conversation, archer's grandfather told nbc 10 the suspect traveled to saudi arabia about a year ago. it's a place muslims visit as part of a holy pilgrimage. for now law enforcement is not suggesting anything was suspicious about that trip. meanwhile, muslims across the area are condemning the shooting and showing support for the police, including a mosque in archer's neighborhood that the iman could not confirm whether archer attended. >> we can't be responsible for anything that anyone else does. as a matter of fact, we don't take the blame for anything that anyone else does in the world today. >> reporter: i've bee

live in west philly, nbc 10 news. >> thank you for that, drew. >>> new from overnight, philadelphia police investigate a double shooting in kensington. we were on scene at a home on somerset street before 3:30 this morning. both victims are in stable condition. >>> all the rain we received overnight could make matters worse for a house in philadelphia that partially collapsed. several families evacuated, and the made it out with just seconds to spare. >> i heard the thing, i looked out the window, there was a big hole in the lady's wall. i couldn't believe it. >> that thing was the sound of the home collapsing. the homeowner grabbed her dog and made it out moments to spare. >> as soon as she closed the door, the house collapsed. as soon as she closed the door. >> the homeowner did not go on camera, but was on the porching filling in windows when she heard cracking and she was in danger. that's when authorities told the immediate neighbors who were forced to evacuate had moments to gather belongings. >> they said that the house could tip over, could land on the structure we're in right now.
