comparison to 24 hours ago weather we were experiencing winds in excess of 20 miles per hour, west-southwest winds at 5 at hayward, northwesterlies at 17 in santa rosa. winds will blow this afternoon northwest about 5 to 15 miles per hour. that's a beautiful panoramic view from sausalito looking out towards the skyline of san francisco, university of california in berkeley lawrence hall of science looking out towards the bay water a few wispy high, thin cirrus clouds that's about it. temperatures in the 50s and 60s. we had some of those clouds you saw in the picture from this upper level disturbance at the pacific northwest. but some of these clouds are undercutting the ridge of high pressure making it into our bay area. not the rain, however. this is too strong of a ridge that's diverting that jet stream north of the bay area. we are going to stay locked into this forecast for the next at least 7 days. with very mild conditions in fact today takes off a gradual warming trend. 60s throughout the central valley where currently it is 56 degrees going up to 62 in sacramento. its now at the free
