as you mentioned, we got pummeled in some parts of western new york. not the typical areas that get pummeled. with lake-effect snow. they were areas closer to the city. south buffalo, picking up as much as 30 to 40 inches of snowfall. cheektowaga, depew, those areas picking up three to four feet of snow. those are more populated areas. a lot of time lake-effect snowstorms affect the southern tier areas, south of buffalo. less populated. less roadways. and the problems on the throughway yesterday, which actually started wednesday night. these people sitting out there for hours and hours, in their cars. we got a lot of folks that were out there, helping these people out. bringing them food. bringing them supplies. now as you mentioned, the the throughway is back open again. >> it's good news, mike. and good news continue there's there's less lake-effect snow expected there in that area this morning. and as we said, the roads are open. we said it a couple times now. here's the wind direction. it shifts ever-so-slightly. so, the wind spends less time dragg
