also showers for western scotland and northern ireland, but aside from that, spells of sunshine aroundtherwise, the weather becomes dry with clear spells, and it will start to fall a bit lighter. temperatures of three or 6 degrees, a chilly start to tuesday morning. for many, bright enough, early morning sunshine, showers from the word go for western scotland, and through the afternoon, more unsettled with rain moving into more northern ireland and wales, and the south—west of england. temperatures of ten or 1a degrees. tuesday afternoon, winds picking up, but through tuesday night gets very windy across western areas, 50 or 60 mph widely. we could see a zone of even stronger winds if we get a deeper area of low pressure. some of our most exposed locations could get wind at 70 miles an hour. some uncertainty about the strength of those very strong winds. either way, heading into wednesday, low pressure taking up residence across the uk, and unsettled today, many others seeing a fairly lengthy outbreaks of rain. if not, heavy showers and thunderstorms around. windy come up with gusts of

more cloud, though, for northern ireland and western scotland.g, becoming a bit more persistent during the afternoon. top temperatures for most of us between about 12 to 1a degrees or so. not as cool as it has been close to the east coast because we're losing that onshore breeze. now overnight tuesday, and heading on into wednesday, we've got this cloud and rain just pushing more widely across the uk, but we do keep the clear skies for east anglia in the southeast. so yet again, just a touch of frost as we head through into wednesday morning here. but further northwest under that blanket of cloud and rain, it is going to be reasonably mild. so heading through wednesday then this frontal system edges its way gradually southwards and eastwards too. so it will bring a spell of wet weather for many of us, i think through wednesday, not everywhere, probably east anglia, parts of lincolnshire, down towards southern and southeastern england, staying dry with some sunny spells all day. but elsewhere, a lot of cloud. the breeze picking up from a south wes

here is our weather front across northern ireland, giving outbreaks of rain, also for western scotlandy in the far south—west of england, some cloud out towards the north sea—facing coasts where it is cooler. but for most of us, there are more sunny spells. highs of 16 or 17 celsius. if we get to 18 degrees, it will be the warmest day of the year so far. but along with the sunshine come some very high tree pollen levels. bearing in mind, if you are a hay fever sufferer. as we head through this evening and overnight, our weather front continues to track its way eastward, giving outbreaks of rain, plenty of cloud, and of course, it is a milderfeeling night underneath all of that cloud and the rain. our weather fronts continue to clear eastward throughout the day tomorrow, some very typical bank holiday monday weather. showers following on behind and blustery towards english channel coasts as well. our rain will eventually clear central and eastern england, it will be heavy for a time, round about lunchtime. after that goes, it is quite windy towards those english channel coasts, we will

it should brighten later in the day for northern ireland and western scotland.e sunshine will turn hasty. the temperatures tomorrow we are looking at roughly 11 and 13 degrees. as we move from wednesday into thursday, this weather front will be with us, slowly moving into the north sea taking the rain with that but lingering across the northern isles and that will be quite windy during thursday in shetland. behind it, high pressure establishing itself, showers and a lot of dry weather in the west but some on the showers in the west but some on the showers in the south—east could be heavy and thundery. as we may through thursday into good friday and easter weekend, high pressure becomes ensconced across the country, we have weather fronts dry to bump and against it on saturday and they might bring some patchy rain during saturday to the far north—west. but most of us will stay dry on saturday and on easter sunday but it looks like more of us will see some rain on easter monday. finland will officially become a member of nato later on tuesday. a passenger train cr
