state. in the city of wharton, they are calling for evacuations because the colorado river is at flood stage right now, that's 39 feet. it's not expected to crest until this gets to 46 feet and that could wipe out hundreds of phones. there are first responders going door to door along the brazo river. that's expected to rise above flood stage tonight and stay there all weekend long. reports say many are leaving and many are not, which is a problem because authorities are worried about having to go out and rescue people in high water. they're looking into opening flood gates and in wimberley texas, people are wondering what the blanco river will do next. it is the wettest month ever in may and they're still expecting several more inches over the next few days. back to you. >> trace, thank you. >> conservative political commentator and author ann coulter for what she did and did not do during an interview about her new book. her latest is called "adios america" and goes after issues on illegal immigration. she was invited on a show of an anchor who has publicly advocated for looser immigration

state park. the fire is spreading through wharton in burlington county. tell us how firefighters are making out with this fire. >> reporter: in just about a half hour the new jersey forest fire service will be updating us on where they are gotten, how far they have come in controlling the blaze they believe may have been intentionally set. they feel like they are about 75% of the way there. you can see they have just completed a break. they're inside setting up. a man took us to the front lines. they also were dousing hot spots. the early morning humidity that made the fire smolder now is smoke and rising. again today drying conditions prevail making it all the more issues september susceptible for fires started by cigarettes or motorcycles. rangers say they have placed foam around the historic structures inside the forest and keeping an eye on people camping out. firefighters say they don't anticipate any evacuation. we asked them what kind of strong leads they had in their investigation. >> our investigators are really good. there's a lot of vegetation
