there has been a fair amount of top recently about our wiener version of 2000? how will you be able to tell -- about our version of 2000. notail: unfortunately do the true correction and bear market until it happens. they say it start slowly and happens all of a sudden. relative to 2000, you can make the case it is similar the trued bear market until it happens. to 2000 because it is a parabolic uptrend. that does have to reverse. 9090 degrees does not hold. evaluation very extended for the s&p 500. the last time i looked, somewhere around 25 to 30 times. 2000 is far above that. the s&p 500 forward pe got 50 or 60. from a valuation perspective you can make the case it is further ahead. i know there's a lot of talk around the options market. some are saying options look like 2000. investors buying short-term option bets suggests they are very bullish right now, but not so much as we go further out into the volatile election. some metrics are similar to do thousand -- are similar to 2000, some are not similar. it does seem the degree we are buying off of the march

senate bill 288 from senator wiener, from which we currently have a watch position, which has to do with ceqa reform, passed out of legislation next week. there would also be -- they've added certain requirements for public meetings before and during construction and established a sunset date of january 2023. so those are some updates on that bill. we are also following a budget trailer bill, sb 815, which would allow for gas tax funds that are currently direct via formula to transit agencies to be used for transit operations. these are normally used for state of good repair maintenance capital projects, but the state is allowing through this bill to allow for transit operations to use them to avoid cuts in service. so it's the regulation that allows federal funds to be used that we talked about last month. so we will provide an update on those of these as well as other bills on the september 15 meeting as well as a federal update that includes updates on representative ayanna pressley's freedom to move acts. acts are due for bicycle and pedestrians projects, including a $220 million sta
