park presidio boulevard. >>> today the man accused of attempting to murder four chp officers in a gun battle on interstate 580 back in 2010 was convicted. byron williams was convicted of four counts of premedicated attempted murder of a police officer. prosecutors say that kms who was wearing body armor initiated the gun battle after being stopped for speeding and weaving in and out of traffic. williams planned to start a right wing revolution by going to san francisco and killing people at the tide foundation and the aclu, according to police. >>> a san francisco police officer hospitalized after being shot yesterday may be well enough to speak to investigators today. the police department says adam shaw is recovering and is in good spirits. the man accused of shooting him was arrested yesterday in san jose following a manhunt through four counties. 50-year-old jeffrey ruano has been charged with possession of ammunition but has not yet been charged with shooting the officer. the bullet that struck officer shaw has not been recovered. and investigators say without that bullet, it will be difficult to determine which firearm he was shot with. >>> poli
