our cameras were there when the remains of first lieutenant william ryan returned to arlington. his son was just three months old when he left for vietnam. family members didn't know what happened to him for decades until his son tells us the wreckage of his plane was excavated. >> i did always as a child hold out that he might be in a pete -- might be in a pow camp. i knew the marines were working hard to excavate that site. they actually did seven times. the remains of my father. it's unbelievable. >> just look how similar he and his father look. first lieutenant ryan was only 25 when he died. he was manning the radar intercept equipment on a fighter jet when it was shot down in 1969. >>> at times when comfort is needed during hard times, it can come simply from a dog. meet raven. she is a comfort dog at a local funeral home. she is therefore a pat or maybe a good snuggle. tonight at 11:00, how more funeral homes are using comfort dogs to ease the pain of losing a loved one. >>> these three brothers right here are set to do something that hasn't been done in three decades, gra
