this started this morning in the home on willow brook drive in north brunswick. new jersey reporter anthony johnson is live at the scene there. anthony? >> reporter: shirleen, just a few minuting a the firefighters stopped pouring water on some of the hot spots. this was a very smoky fire. taking place in one of the apartment buildings here at the willow brook apartments starting around 8:15 this morning. and was both a destructive and very devastating fire for the residents living inside the apartments. the flames were raging as newscopter 7 was over the blaze which started right after 8:00 this morning. the fire quickly spread consuming eight apartments destroying everything in its path. witnesses say a woman dropped her baby from a second floor balcony and then had to jump to escape the flames. firefighters say the wood frame complex was fully involved when they arrived and neighbors called 911 and some were knocking on doors to make sure everyone got out safe. most most of the residents escaped on their own. at one point there was concern that two firefighter
