reporting live in crofton, mike hellgren, wjz eyewitness news remember. >> and of course, this arrest is no doubt a shock to the crofton neighborhood where prescott lives. our complete coverage continues now. wjz is live. jessica kartalija spent the afternoon talking to people who live there. jessica? >> reporter: well, good afternoon, vic. anywhere from 500 to 700 people live in the upscale apartment complex, where the suspect was arrested. residents there tell us that it's full of young families. and of course, young professionals as well. many commuters to washington, d.c. and baltimore. many neighbors that we spoke with didn't want to go on camera. they say that this is a very close-knit community, as you can imagine. and of course, they're saddened to learn about the entire situation. and quite frankly, very scared. several residents in the apartments were evacuated while police served the search warrant and found more than 20 guns and rifles and 400 rounds of ammunition inside the suspect's apartment. we also spoke with a retired d.c. police officer, who says that this is incred
