claudine wong joins us now from san mateo with the pictures officers hope will lead to a break in this case. claudine? >> reporter: they certainly think the same person is responsible for all of these burglaries. let me tell you where we are. el camino is just in front of us. one burglary happened there. on this block three happened here and then on the next block over, another two. again all in the same night. let's take you to what we know about what happened. it happened in the overnight hours. not a lot of traffic coming through here at the time. they believe the same thing happened really in all of them. the burglar tried to go in through the rear end of the building targeting cash and anything they could get out very quickly carrying out of there very quickly. they didn't find success in all of the buildings targeted. in fact, in three of the incidents, even though they found evidence that someone tried to get in, nothing was taken. they did however at one of the businesses get some surveillance photos. they are of a single person, a man in his early 20s they believe and again th
