in woodbridge virginia and i will show you our live super doppler located in bowie and anyways, it is picking up on a few showers, snow showers into southern maryland into southern st. mary's county and into southern calvert as well. for the most part this is associated with an upper level that's pretty much moving on out. but is it cold outside? our average this time of year is 50 degrees and we're nowhere near that. 30 degrees in quantico as well as in lexington park. it feels a little cooler especially with the winds blowing out of the northwest anywhere between 10 and 20 miles an hour. and radar shows the bigger picture. we had that front still moving well off shore.still, a little upper level disturbance moves through, it is bringing us a little bit of some of those snow showers. otherwise, the breezy winds with us and then high pressure off to the west will move on in for the day tomorrow bringing us more sunshine. but as i've been hinting at the possibility of maybe a little wintry weather come sunday. let me time it out for you on the futurecast. started it tomorrow at 10:00,

if you'll be making the commute this morning, traveling north from virginia, woodbridge all the way up to the beltway, no issues along 95 north this morning. in virginia we did have some issues on dumfries road, two accidents in fact. but not causing any major delays. police on the scene right now. detouring the traffic out there. and making sure that drivers get around the mess and are able to get -- continue on with their commute this morning. again no major issues in those areas. for those of you on the beltway this morning, we're having no major problems either. light traffic for the most part which is certainly helping us keep the accident level low and making sure people are able to get to their destinations on time. so we can step outside live right now and show you that camera if we can. you'll be able to see that light traffic again on the inner and outer loop of connecticut avenue. so you can see the slick roads this morning as people have been talking about and conditions like this, you certainly want to take it easy.
