for a look at what to expect, let's check in with meteorologist wyatt everhart. wyatt? >>> it's been on and off with the fog all day. you can see that fog descending a little bit tonight. it's going to be tough to see, not so much the trouble this evening with icy areas. temperatures have gone above freezing statewide but there could still be slick spots and we still have the fog deal with, so no big refreeze. we dropped to no visibility now in baltimore. bwi reporting less than one mile in fact reporting zero at current. that's has bad as it gets. wilmington just one mile. yes, very decent, very heavy fog across much of baltimore county up through harford and cecil county. the rain clearing to the east. we are seeing improved weather in that respect and the rest of the evening showers over the eastern shore and patchy dense fog throughout central maryland and the western shore and parts of the eastern shore and in fact into the morning we can see some fog. we clear out and warm up a lot by tomorrow afternoon. how long will the 50s last? we'll talk about that straight a

wyatt andrews has the texas congressman's plans to shrink the federal government. wyatt? >> reporter: scott, ron paul's plan to reduce the federal deficit is the largest of all the candidates and his spending cuts would happen fast. $900 billion during his first year in office. reducing the federal deficit the signature issue for ron paul in iowa. his plan calls for reducing the federal work force by 10%, slashing the pay of congress and eliminating the federal departments of education, energy housing, commerce, and interior. >> what we're talking about are real cuts in the shrinking of the size of the federal government.
