at all of our green cards in texas immigration agent says i do see your paperwork is in order and youou have your green card isus your children this is a fine thing but there's only one little problem. we have to keep the little one is a quarantine. she has a rash so we will keep her here you can go up to chicago. my mom had this voice that came from her gut she didn't really do this but like to wrap around and said we have been invited by the university of chicago to come program coming into this country with my fourth children do you understand he said yes i do. come on in. that's the way i tell the story for over two decades. it's such a funny story my mom stood up to immigration. but this past summer i was in an airport and then the phone rang it was my mom. she knows i have been in transit a lot so i call her so she called me and she was in tears. she said they tried to do it to you. the children that they are taking away they tried to do it to you. that was you that they try to take away from me. now i realize that was my voice of trauma telling me he would put me into quarantine.
