There are several things you can do to personally feel more at ease.
1. Adjust your viewing device to remove the color. (Easily done in VLC under TOOLS-EFFECTS AND FILTERS)
2. Never again visit the collection and only view those items which make your feelings happier. (Your own collection here must be comprised of such items)
3. If you reside in the United States you can vote for someone who will force Archive.org to remove such items. (an unfortunate side effect of such a vote is your personal freedoms will then be at the mercy of soulless bosses)

Your reply made me laugh. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound all pained about it, I'm actually seriously interested in why you feel these movies need colorizing, which you didn't actually address. I don't need to "feel more at ease". I just feel the original color has a more intriguing look, and the reason why some directors choose to film that way for certain movies today eg. Ripley series 2024
