and they're only going to be in the mid to upper 50s to around 60 degrees. 60 in san jose. it will be the warm spot. 10 to 15 degrees below average in the santa clara valley. 15 to 20 degrees below average inland east bay with highs only in the 50s. around the bay we're only 5 to 10 degrees below normal. upper 50s in san francisco, not much warmer in oakland. and even though the rain stops in the north bay first, likely by late morning, your temperatures will only warm to the upper 50s as well. sunday we start to build on temperatures a little bit, and sunday the wind won't be as much of a factor. the winds are going to be gusty throughout the day. as the rain is moving through, the cold front driving that will squeeze the atmosphere and produce gusty winds. they'll pivot into the afternoon and become west-northwesterly. gusts into saturday evening, and once the sun goes down, the winds start to back down. sunday will be the less rainy, certainly, drier half of the weekend, and also the warmer half of the weekend. but that doesn't mean it's actually going to be warm. temper

as i mentioned, close to 80 in san jose. close to 08 in livermore. into the low 80s for the warm spot across the entire bay area in antioch and around 80 degrees in concord. not that warm around the bay, but not bad for may 2nd. 76 redwood city. half moon bay, 61 degrees. it's above average. it count, but not as far above average as other parts of the region. close to 70 in san francisco, not bad for early may. a few low 80s in the north bay. 81 for a high temperature in napa. as we head closer to the end of the workweek and into the weekend, things are going to shift abruptly. still a warm day on friday. we're looking at the ten-day temperature outlook for livermore, and we just drop off a cliff from close to 80 degrees friday to only 60 degrees for a high temperature on saturday. that's the average high temperature in early february. now, it's a relatively brief little cold snap. we're going to start climbing already on sunday. it's cool for the second half of the weekend. we should be back to near average temperatures by tuesday and wednesday and
