that direction is toward the san fernando valley.e shot this morning as we were making our way through, a lot of the small roads in the foothills of the los angeles neighborhood, beverly crest, have mud, debris, trees, all sorts of things in the road. there is no warning because the roads are not closed. there are so many problems across los angeles and they can't get to everything. a lot of the people are running into the problems. we are advising people to be careful and cautious. mayor of los angeles said if you can stay home, you should stay home. we have seen several homes damaged. we have heard of gas leaks, downed power lines, downed trees. there is a lot that southern california is dealing with. this is a prime example of one of them. l.a. is known for its traffic but of course we are starting to see more problems traffic wise because of all the mud flows and debris flows because of this massive storm we are dealing with. it's still dumping on us and we expect it to dump more rain. >> the power of cbs sister station synergy.
