thousands are gearing up for the 20th annual trans march at dolores park. and here's some video just sent into our newsroom from thom jensen. he is on scene. the march is just getting underway at 6:00. marchers will head down to lower street to market street, then over to taylor. it's just one of many pride events going on today. in fact, earlier, more than 200 couples made their way to city hall to get married. it's part of a tradition that started back in 2017, when the city began opening up more marriage appointments on the friday before. pride this year also happens to mark 20 years since the city issued its first same sex marriage license. it's been like a dream of ours to live in san francisco. we met in like rural virginia at college, and like when she told me that she wanted to live in san francisco one day, i was like, oh, i think that might be the one, so it's really cool to be here now and be doing this on an average day. the office of the county clerk says it officiates about 28 marriages, and you can find your guide to pride on our website, nbc
