. >> straight out to jean casarez, legal correspondent, "in session." jean, you and i reported on this friday night. up until then aruban prosecutors hadn't done a darn thing about this photo. now suddenly after it's been publicized they send out dive teams. now, i know they worked saturday, they worked over the weekend, they're continuing to work into tomorrow. what's the progress? have they even been able to pinpoint the spot where the photo was taken? >> that is the big challenge, nancy, because they're trying to find exactly where that snorkeling picture was taken. the fbi is interviewing the couple in pennsylvania to find out if they can give more precisely where they were. they are also interviewing one of the muldowneys' relatives in aruba to see if they know where it is. but nancy, this was a cat ma ran. this was a ship that took people out to do snorkeling. it was by a german old ship that had sunk years ago, the muldowneys told you friday night. so there are some landmarks in what part of the waters this could be in. >> here are thmuldowneys. e

jean casarez, what do you know? >> well, we know what she has said in her jailhouse tapes. she has said that she talks to everybody about how much she misses haleigh and how much she thinks about haleigh. but you know, i think charlene brings up a great point because in the casey anthony case we just found out through the prosecution's motion that casey had written 258 pages to another inmate, and no one would have believed that. >> to bethany marshall, dr. bethany marshall, psychoanalyst, author of "dealbreakers" joining us tonight out of l.a. dr. bethany, she does go on and on about how everybody knows i talk about haleigh. but i and our staff have combed over hundreds it feels like hours, of hours of her yakking and there's not one time where she says, you know, that night everything was just fine. we went to bed. i did the laundry. that's all i can tell them. or you know, i took haleigh to school that day or, you know, i was thinking about last christmas and how happy she was. nothing. we have never once heard a recollection about haleigh. >> you're right. and if we kne

. >> to jean casarez, legal correspondent "in session," who's been on the case from the very beginning. weigh in, jean. is this even possible, this new story from misty croslin? >> well, let me weigh in in regard to tommy. tommy's attorney has said that he wants to take a polygraph. so if he was involved in all of that, as she seems to say, but her polygraph doesn't say that's the truth, then i think tommy does need to take a polygraph to see where he stands on that particular issue. >> now, jean, take me back. wasn't it tommy croslin, which is her brother, that says he went to the home that night, the night haleigh goes missing, bangs on the door between 10:00 and 10:30, waits and waits and waits, nobody ever comes to the door? wasn't that him? >> he said it repeatedly. he has said that story repeatedly. now he is voluntarily wanting to take a polygraph. he's never taken one before, nancy, that we know of. >> elizabeth, please cue up the video of marlaina schiavo taking us through the home. jean casarez, i'd like to get tommy croslin under polygraph to ask him about that night that he

jean casarez with "in session." thanks. >>> i don't know if you've heard this, but michael jackson's doctor is accused of stopping cpr so he could hide drug vials in the late singer's bedroom. this is a stunning allegation that is in documents obtained by the associated press now. jackson's logistics director, alberto alvarez, also told investigators dr. conrad murray insisted on leaving the hospital and going back to jackson's mansion to get cream so, quote, the world wouldn't find out about it. murray's attorney rejects the allegations and accuses prosecutors of leaking the police report. a spokesperson for the d.a. says prosecutors did not release the documents. murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter. and he said that nothing he gave jackson should have killed him. >>> what is this going to mean, though, for the involuntary manslaughter case against dr. murray or for the embattled jackson estate itself? nancy grace investigates tonight at 8:00 and 10:00 eastern right here on hln. >>> doctors are feeling

we are taking your calls live back out to jean casarez. correspondent, "in session," before we unleash the lawyers. jane, what else happened in court today? i saw tot mom laughing. what was funny? >> well, i think she was enthralled with her new lawyer. there is a new defense lawyer on the team. his name is cheney mason. he's one of the most respected defense lawyers in the state of florida. death penalty qualified, orlando-based, covered many cases. nancy, you and i on court tv followed many of the cases he covered. he's now a member of the defense team. >> and i understand he's hopping onboard pro bono for free. >> that's right. he's very close to retirement, and he decided he wanted to do the case. he said in a press conference he wanted to do it. he thinks it will be fun. he doesn't have to do this case. he's had a very, very long career, but he wants to get involved. >> let's unleash the lawyers. joining us tonight, expert in florida law, bill sheaffer, former prosecutor, wftv legal analyst. renee rockwell, veteran defense attorney, h

but i do want to go to jean casarez, our correspondent with "in session" and with our sister network trutv. is he charged with premeditated murder? >> he's charged with first-degree murder and premeditated murder. you are exactly right. you also heard the sheriff's deputy say that they believe that it was a crime of opportunity. that he did not know of somer thompson in the past but that doesn't mean it can't be premeditated because you can premeditate something very, very quickly. but, christi, we also learned the crime scene now of the murder, according to sheriff's deputies, it would be the home that this man was staying in, jarred harrell. it is his mother's home. he was living there at the time. we also heard the cause of death asphyxiation. >> okay. that's something new we had not heard. if he's convicted, does he face the death penalty? >> prosecutors will have that option to bring this as a death penalty case. we just heard the state attorney speak at the press conference saying this is definitely a crime that can be charged with death. but we also now know what they actually

joining me to talk about this welcome back jean casarez correspondent for our sister network trutv. what do you make of these claims? brett churchill is telling this story about how casey is ready to put an "x" on a map to show where little caylee is. >> reporter: what i did, over a thousand pages today, so you can imagine the immensity of the material. what i did, mike i went straight to tim miller's deposition. this was a sworn deposition, tim miller of equusearch. he's a nationally renowned searcher, has done many and within that deposition i find what you are talking about. and he says that cindy anthony is the one who called him and asked him to come to florida, so he came to florida, and he went to the family's home, and before he got there, he purchased a map because he doesn't know a lot about orlando. and he said to the family, once he got there and got settled in that we all hope that caylee is alive, but we need to start searching in case she's not -- he said there was a demeanor change in cindy right away, which i think that we can understand. you want to believe caylee

. >> joining me now is jean casarez. thanks for being here. first off, this happened so quickly.here are lots of cases like this unfortunately and rarely are they solved this quickly. how did police solve this. >> we have learned that wet statements helped them bring the charges. admissions from the defendant, which is interesting. they said that yesterday. also dna evidence. and then evidence that they took from his home. so i think all of those things together. >> investigators aren't saying very much yet about how somer died, the details of the crime. what do we know? >> we know she was walking home from school, she got in a little argument, so she walked ahead. we heard yesterday that she was lured into the home by the defendant, mr. harrell, and that she wasn't in there very long. we now know her cause of death was asphyxiation. and we know the charges which are premed eighted murder, sexual battery upon a child less than 12, and lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12. sg and this is someone that has no criminal record. they cooperate have their dna in a data ba

but "in session's" jean casarez of our sister network trutv is all over this. >> misty croslin was in court today. she's been taken back to her jail cell now. this is so serious. misty croslin is facing eight different charges of drug trafficking. one is a 25-year mandatory minimum. but the real reason we all believe that police are so concerned about this case is that misty croslin was the last person to ever see little 5-year-old hailey cummings. it was undercover officers that in january videotaped alleged drug deals between misty croslin and ronald cummings. that's hailey's father. it's that video evidence that culminated in these felony counts but they are very serious. she remains behind bars. what we've learned from that hearing is that her attorney says that they are not yet ready for trial. so a pretrial hearing has now been scheduled for june. also, though, they have not waived their right to a speedy trial. it's very interesting, christi. what that means is there's got to be a trial. something's got to happen in a finite period of time. but the main thing i just learn from

jean casarez is with us. i understand it's equusearch's tim miller who gave a sworn statement. >> it's really important. that deposition is within all these papers. look at this. it's almost 1,000 pages of reading. and that's what discovery is all about. well, nestled in the middle of that is a deposition from timothy miller. he is the director of equusearch, nationally renowned search group. he says in this deposition that he went orlando. he got a call from cindy anthony. he went and bought a map. he went to the family's home. they were all there. let's show everybody what he says in this depositn. he says "well, apparently george went in and talked to casey and told casey that we were going to start searching fo other areas to go ahead and eliminate them. and i remember cindy was again not real happy. she wasn't being ugly then, but you could tell that her mood certainly took a terrible change and not for the better. george sat down at the table. i had that map and george said to casey, he said, casey, whe
