dr. julian bayles. and joining us from atlanta, is "gma" contributor, erin andrews.u have been doing a lot of phone calling overnight. talking to players, coaches, the league. how soon could we possibly see the nfl take action? >> robin, last night, espn senior analyst for the nfl, chris mortensen reported that for the monday night football game, they are expected by wednesday, to make a statement to players and to clubs. and basically, tell them that first-time offenders will be suspended for what the nfl is calling devastating hits or head shots. so, as you guys mentioned in that feature there, a very sobering weekend for the nfl. i talked to ray anderson, the executive vice president of football operations for the nfl. he said this weekend just put everything into place. from the accident with the rutgers player. with the violent hits in the nfl this weekend. and also, on sunday night football, tony dungy, a very respectable former head coach, and a former d.b., rodney harrison, saying fines aren't going to impact players. >> could it be this weekend that we're go
