san raphael, some fog. a lot of fog hanging around. there is still plenty of moisture in the atmosphere but it's going to be a little bit warmer this weekend. we could have temperatures in the 70s, especially sundae. foggy, warm and muggy weekend. low this is morning never got below about 56 or 55. warm along the coast and each inland if low clouds burn off or even the high clouds. next one will be tuesday or wednesday. this is setting up to be a really impressive kind of more than a showery pattern. could be decent but that won't until next wednesday. you can see how the cloud cove, most of it is rotating north ward. heavy rain will be falling as this moisture will be coming up from the hawaiian island. we have gone from the cold of november to very mild tropical nussments -- numbers. san jose at 66. this little rain is coming by, dropping some temperatures. still rather mild to warm. 75 down in palm springs, 40s in the mountains. everybody is on the mild side. look at the moisture right down toward the hawaiian islands. it comes up a

san raphael mostly sunny starting off cold with 54 for a high under mostly sunny skies. clouds coming in late. the clouds that we had from about 36 hours ago, well, yesterday morning, went south. and then coming in behind that colder drier air but already the leading edge of the higher clouds are right there. that will start to work in tomorrow. now the system coming in tomorrow is really just overrunning what we call overrunning warmer lighter rain. the heavier rain won't show up until saturday. we have a day and a half, two days to go here. but that cold low will combine with moisture coming up from the hawaiian islands to give us a very active weekend. so cold to start. fog this morning. mostly sunny though. cloudy, mild on friday as we get a lot of cloud cover in here. then the rain returns and rain and wind. where it all shows up on the weekend is still to be determined. again, a difference of 50 miles in the atmosphere could mean heavy duty rain or just rain. so we'll ease into that for tomorrow. the sierra already the watches have been posted. it starts today. thi

we are in a very foggy san raphael. while the rain will be moving north over the next 24 to 36 hours the fog's not going anywhere. it's going to play into our weather not only today but well into the weekend except along the coast where i felt looks to me like it will be sunny and warm. we're already sitting in the mid to upper 50s for some. but the rain is still dragging across us. you can see heavier cells beginning to approach san francisco, south san francisco peninsula and light rain continues from the north bay. san jose actually a couple breaks in the clouds but it will be a mostly cloudy muggy mild day for some. mill valley inch and a quarter. oakland an inch plus. san francisco officially 1.02. sfo .28. and san jose only .51. that was it. cloud cover continues to race in. it will start to lift here. right there is a back edge to it. by tomorrow most of this as far as rain goes will continue to push northward. antioch our forecast could be a few little sun breaks mainly east and south. looks like a cloudy to mos
