that is a credit to the applicants into our partners. of the 60 applications, her two of them were considered a menu projects. i will be presenting again in february for how to revise the process. but i think the fact that there were so many people speak to the challenges of the menu system. they were relatively small and simple projects. they were actually disqualified from the process. one thing that we are discussing and working with members of the task force is to reconsider a small, medium, large purses a large pot. as for the project selection process itself, i have included the selection committee package that was distributed to the members of the committee as was the members. each member of the committee reviewed the criteria and reported to each other. we took those scores and review each application as a group. the committee came to an agreement about which project best fits the criteria in the majority vote to approve projects. i did not vote on recommendations, and i say that the committee -- several applicants have had questi

at some point, the applicant came to my staff and provided a handwritten note. my staff as i waited this and noted that there could be some discrepancies and they contacted the home office and talked to one of my permit staff. per discussion, they were authorized a four-month permit. this is not answer the question that was posed that how what an individual was given this, it would somehow change from how it would change possession. based upon this information, some have a document and we have to revoke the permit based on what appears to be fraud. had this to build a building permit or a planning document, someone would make the change. deep building believes that we acted appropriately -- the building department believes we acted appropriately. but appears that someone had manipulated information. >> it is that your handwriting? >> that is my handwriting except for number 5. >> what are the word spread of four of the line at the bottom. >> that lists 30 linear feet. >> i just want to make sure. >> when you put to that, you had written it the number four. there

he has already been twice denied an application for medallion permits. the number one issue is that he has not fulfilled full time driving requirements even as it stood when his application cannot in 2008. he has never submitted the requisite number of waybills. he submitted 54 for 2005, none for 2006, but later submitted 3 for 2006. there is no dispute that he did not drive because he was out of the country. in 2008, it was determined that he substantially qualified for the year 2008 with the driving a requirement. please keep in mind at the time of the application, the rules were slightly different and he only needed to complete three out of four years. the current rule is four out of five. with the full time driving requirements, three out of four years. he doesn't seem to dispute the lack of documentation. he does claim that he is a driver and people know him as a driver. the years in dispute are 2005 and 2006. there has never been documentation to substantiate that. it is important to note that the hearing officer in the matter of looking beyond the way

org has the application the community challenge grant web page. so, let's see. it's a highly competitive grant. there are 200 officially recognized neighborhoods in the city of san francisco. check it out if you go to sfgov. org and click on agencies and the planning department on the planning department home page there is a spreadsheet they update when they have time of neighborhood organizations that want to be notified. so and many are interested in getting money to improve their neighborhoods. we usually have applications along the order of 2-1/2 times the funding that we have. like we will have 500 thousand dollars available to give out ask and we get 1.3 million dollars worth of applications. it's competitive. we are not hard and fast about breaking down the money between small, medium and large. we are pretty flexible. we like to look at good projects. we always try to fund one large project if it's a hundred thousand we may be might not fund 2 large projects. so, with that, i will quit and invite david and neil and joseph to talk about some of their proj
