at least that's the story for several flight attendants who landed at sfo.onja shin is outside the marriott hotel in downtown san francisco where medics were called about severe flu-like symptoms. sonja, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, sydnie. paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to this marriott behind me in downtown san francisco at around 12:15 a.m. after 8 flight attendants got sick. the flight attendants all flew into sfo on the same singapore airlines plane last night according to our radio partner kcbs. firefighters and paramedics were told to wear protective gear like masks and gloves in case the illness was contagious. but all the victims were treated for what authorities now believe was actually carbon monoxide poisoning. the flight attendants are now being treated at san francisco general hospital. carbon monoxide is an odorless colorless gas that can cause sudden illness or death and carbon monoxide poisoning can cause flu-like symptoms including headaches, confusion, dizziness and nausea. now, we don't know if the flight attendan
